Benjamin D. Smith Joins Primarium
Primarium, LLC is pleased to announce that Ben Smith has joined Primarium to grow Primarium consulting services in the renewable energy market. Ben has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Auburn University and he is pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Sustainable Energy from the Iceland School of Energy at Reykjavik University where he will gain a good understanding of current issues, concepts, and technologies associated with renewable energy. This is an exciting time to be in that field as renewable energy technologies are advancing at a fast pace. Primarium is honored to partner with Ben in this academic adventure of significant strategic importance.
Iceland is a global leader in renewable energy development and that is reflected in the heavy reliance on geothermal, hydropower, and wind energy to power their nation. Students in the Reykjavik M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy program are exposed to a wide spectrum of renewable energy aspects ranging from the latest technologies, power plant design, and power generation to the development of sustainable energy law and policy. Students in this interdisciplinary program are provided opportunities to interact with engineers, project managers, policy-makers, and leading experts in the global renewable energy field.
In the months ahead, please watch for periodic white papers and Primarium blog posts and news updates on renewable energy topics on the Primarium website written by Ben. Ben’s studies at Reykjavik University will provide him with an understanding of current issues, concepts, and technologies associated with renewable energy.
We will all be watching for Ben’s renewable energy updates with great anticipation!
