New Year Resolutions 2021

Everyone is looking forward to the new year with great anticipation and most will be happy to have 2020 behind them. The road in life is usually different than as we imagined it. It is normally full of surprises, but there are always valuable lessons to be learned from the good and the bad. We must reflect on 2020 with that in mind.

My wife and I discussed new year resolutions for 2021 over coffee this morning. While our mental list included the typical ones such as diet and exercise, it also includes an annual Bible reading plan. I have personally found it valuable to read through the entire Bible each year for many years now. I am surprised at the number of Primarium website hits from people who apparently downloaded the 2020 plan a year ago and are now looking for the 2021 plan. It was just published by Ligonier Ministries along with a variety of reading plans. See https://www.ligonier.org A copy of the plan I use is attached to this post. There are many great reading plans available; however, I prefer the simplicity and sequential nature of this particular one. I print and carry this plan with me all over the world. I challenge all of you to make 2021 the year that you read through the entire Bible if you have never done so using whatever plan you like. As you come across difficult passages, there are many useful commentaries available online.
