New Year Resolutions for 2022 Along the Narrow Path Ahead
The most frequently visited page on the Primarium website is the year-end post providing a Bible reading plan for the year ahead. When I look at website statistics I am amazed to see how many different people visit this particular page from all over the world. Therefore, I will continue the tradition while giving credit to the publisher of this plan - Ligonier Ministries.
For me, every year in life looks different than you thought it would. There are unexpected surprises along that path. Those surprises include sadness, joy, fear, and excitement. Looking back, some of the sad ones (at the time) ended up being incredible blessings. I could fill this post with our family’s years of surprises. All of the events along the path can change us over time. I am increasingly confident that there is indeed a loving God who wants us to trust Him along that path. I never tire of re-reading that unfolding story each year. I am excited to finish the last few chapters of the 2021 reading plan over the next few days, and I am excited to begin the 2022 reading plan this weekend.
The attached reading plan was just published by Ligonier Ministries along with a variety of reading plans. See https://www.ligonier.org There are many great reading plans available; however, I prefer the simplicity and sequential nature of this particular one. I print and have carried this plan with me all over the world with the Bible on my Kindle. I challenge you to make 2022 the year that you read through the entire Bible if you have never done so using whatever plan you like. As you come across difficult passages, there are many useful commentaries available online.
Happy New Year!
